The new set arrived last week. Grady hooked them up Saturday ... so that meant today was laundry day.

Bathroom No. 2 ...

There's still some finishing work to do (trim n' stuff) but calling it done for now ... after 5 years living here (7 years owning the place), we now have a completely functioning 2nd bathroom.

Oh sure, they need trim and paint ... but it's better than the curtain that was hanging there before.

Weekend Project No. 462* ...

Needed to make room to store some new sleeping pads (aka 'the guest bedroom') so started working on the 'hall' closet this weekend ... didn't quite get it all done but should be wrapped up tomorrow (well, minus the floor and painting the doors) ...

Ugh, this means I have to finish the sheetrock ...

And that means sanding ...

Wood from Gr'ma's farm is now part of our home ...

7 Years ...

It was 7 years ago today that we closed escrow. Think we've made any progress?

Boogerballs Owner ...

We often have folks randomly walk up to our door, hoping to meet the owner of all the oddball lil' cars. Tuesday, it was Jeff - a 'micro car illustrator' and owner of boogerballs.com.

Sometimes Life Sucks ...

Last Thursday, Grady went to go to Home Depot only to find that someone had shot the truck with a BB gun ... nothing we could do other than call the police to file a vandalism report. Truck now has a new windshield and Grady will be going to the junkyard to get a driver-side window.
